Rules & Regulations for Kavyanjali Poetry Competition:
- Participants must be present on stage when their name is announced. Begin the poetry recitation by introducing yourself. The poem must be self-composed and original—this is mandatory.
- The poem should not include commentary on controversial or sensitive issues.
- Participants must ensure that the language used is decent and respectful. The poem should not hurt the sentiments of any community, religion, group, or class.
- Each participant will be given 2 to 2:30 minutes for poetry recitation.
- A buzzer will sound at 2 minutes as a warning.
- Another buzzer will sound at 2:30 minutes, at which point the recitation must be concluded.
- Exceeding the allotted 2:30 minutes will result in negative marking.
- Failure to comply with the above rules may lead to elimination from the competition.
- The names of Three winners selected from the poetry competition will be announced from the stage during the Grand Poets’ Meet at 5:00 PM at Royal SAGE Hall.
- Both winners will receive cash prizes and will also be given the opportunity to recite their poems at the Grand Poets’ Meet, which will begin sharp at 5:00 PM at Royal SAGE
