About The Event
Join us for an electrifying evening at Sage Swarnim's Battle of Bands, where musical talent meets fierce competition. Bands from various schools, colleges, and universities will battle it out in the open theater, striving to win the crowd and the title of the best band!
Event Highlights:
Live Band Competition: Bands will compete in a dynamic setting, playing everything from Indian light/classical to Western contemporary and rock fusion music.
Audience Engagement: The winner is decided by audience votes—your cheer can crown the champions!
Creative Freedom: Bands are encouraged to perform original compositions and creatively incorporate at least one Indian musical instrument.

Rules and Regulations
- Entry Fee: Rs. 5000/- (Each group)
- Age Limit: 14 - 25 years
- Team Size: minimum 3 members ...maximum 12 members per team
Entry Requirements & Rules:
- Bands must perform live without referring to lyrics.
- Performances should not exceed 10 minutes including stage setup
- All band members must be between the ages of 14 and 25.
- Bands must use their own musical instruments.
- Lyrics must be appropriate; derogatory language is prohibited.
- The Prize Criteria (out of 100 marks) is as follows:
🏆 1st Prize : >=90 Marks
🥈 2nd Prize : >=80 & >90 Marks
🥉 3rd Prize : >=70 & >80 Marks
Judgment
- song selection, voice quality, clarity, rhythm, and audience appeal.
- (Judge’s decision is the final decisions)
